"A lot it seems" he whispered in the northmen ears...

Edric chuckles at the thought of Cedric tumbling from his horse.
"Well, I certainly don't plan on embarrassing myself. I have been preparing for this day for quite a while. The melee is more suited to my talents. Will you Ser's be trying your luck there as well?"

"What was that?" Lavinia asked, rounding on Podrick, which made her wiggle.

"A Tower stands strong and still." Arthur said seriously, planting his feet into the ground.

"I had not planned on being a part of that brawl, but if the mood strikes me, I may put forth my name into the lists."

"Nothing, my princess" he giggled and turned to Edric. "I've been training for some time, but still luck is very important..."

"Well Ser Arthur, I can guarantee if you stand still during the melee you will be made to look a fool quite quickly!"
Turning to Ser Cedric, Edric says:
"Well I looked forward to competing with you regardless of the venue, Ser. Your tourney skills are well reknowned."
He turns to Ser Podrick,
"Luck is important, yes. I hear House Baelish can manufacture their own luck, however."

Lavinia glared at Baelish. "I want you to tell me right now what you whispered to your friend."

"Your words are kind, Ser. I wish I could say the same of you, but surely you understand. Northern knights are a rare oddity, and those from the Neck doubly so."

Felric appeared in the distance, riding a shaggy garron with a deer slung over its back. He eyed the small city being built with no small curiosity. Tying his horse off on a wooden fence, he approached the crowd that was slowly gathering.

Turning back to Cedric, Edric says:
"It's true. We northmen are not particularly fond of tournaments. However, the more I read about them the more intrigued I became. I have spent most of my life with people being unaware of my... capabilities."

"Well, tourneys are the life of the Reach, and so things are taken a bit more seriously there. But I do not blame your curiosity, after all, tourneys are the best place to make a name for yourself. Especially with the maidens."
Cedric grinned.

"Judging by the crowd at the wedding feast, the maidens are not in short supply either." Edric winks.
