Aldric smiles once more, "Podrick Baelish should be up soon as well send him right in."
Aldric steps into the Solar and nods to Lord Baelish, "I am sorry M'Lord but I shall be stealing your morning."

The lord looked up from the letter he was writing and quickly threw it into a drawer.
"You will?" He asked surveying the younger Lord. He did not look impressed

"I am sorry Lord Waymar but I have matters to speak with you and your son. Please I ask you take the time as I promise you this will benefit your house." Aldric takes a seat close to the small fire going warming his hands.

"Podrick is not important." Waymer said "I do not see why you need to speak with him too."

Aldric looked from the fire to Lord Baelish, "Because what I have to offer involves your heir. You should remember that he will be the next Lord Baelish after you join my father in the Strangers embrace." Straightening to his full height and looking down at Waymar, "Also I do believe you have not said your sorrow of hearing of my father."

"It was sent in a raven to your home... Lord Arryn. It is not down to me to check of you receive all your letters." Waymer replied, ignoring the door. "It is not the wisest to threaten your sworn houses in their own homes. Something that your father never did."

With no answer, he entered anyway, after hearing his father last words. "My lords, is something wrong?"

His father turned, glaring at him.
"Did I give you leave to enter Podrick?"

Aldric had enough of all this bickering, "Podrick come in and sit." The young Lord turns back Waymar, "Lord Baelish you are going to hear my proposal if you want to or not."

Aldric ignored Waymar's voice, "Now that you are both here I can begin to say that I have some new plans for the Vale. We are in a rare situation that has seen all of us be safe from the worse effects of the War. Because of that I think we should expand and try to gather some more trade rights with the Free Cities." Turning to Podrick, "And I want you to go and broker the deal Ser Podrick."

He ignored his father, and turned his gaze to Lord Aldric, his eyes open wide. "My... My Lord... I have just married.... I was going to lead the men in the crusade... But... But.. It would be an honor..." He'd got all he wanted in only one hit, the chance to learn about the Free Cities, gold and probably he would make a name... "Which of the cities, My lord?"
