Without a chance to question the guard further Edric allows him to leave and takes a seat by Ser Podrick and Ser Arthur.
"Did either of you notice the Gold Cloak leaving the Sept?"

Arthur smiled. "Alright, but no funny business on your part. I have 200 men in this city under my command. "

Lorraine handed her glass to a passing steward and found the rest of the Lannister group, already seated. The only place left was beside her mother-in-law. With a heavy sigh, she sat down. She wasn't sure if she liked weddings. She would probably cry. Hopefully the Martell was far enough away not to see the tears.

"Alright, Edric, when that goldcloak that just walked in leaves after the wedding we're going to knock him out and take him to Pod's manse for questioning or something!"

Shocked at the pure ineptitude of such a plot, Edric decides to intervene.
"As the blade master of the Gold Cloaks I can't have you attacking my men in the streets like there's some kind of riot going on. I was surprised to see a guard change as well but allow me to speak with the man after the ceremony. Keep your distance and do not attack him."

Arthur faltered. "Should've let Pod explain it. He speaks with a weird accent and, oh just wait for Pod to get back from the privy."

Surprised by the question, Edric answers:
"It would be unlikely, but I must admit, my short time in Kings Landing has not permitted me to learn of all my men yet. If he is suspect then allow me to speak with him. Attacking him in the street will only bring the fury of the crown upon you. Watch from a distance."

Post by Ser Cedric Tarly on Aug 24, 2012 13:26:17 GMT -5
Ser Cedric had been passing the time watching the lords and ladies from afar. Some he knew, either by recognition or by matching colors and sigils to houses. Others he hadn't the smallest clue as to who they could be.
The knight watched as a goldcloak was relieved by another, but thought little of it. His sister turned to him and said something, but Cedric ignored her, as it was probably a boring comment about some lady's dress.
