"We have been requested to provide a regiment of men to accompany the Princess on her journey. I have been named as Captain of her guard. In my stead I will leave the Captain of the Gate of the Gods to continue the training regiment. He shows the most promise. I am sorry for the brief warning but I was only just summoned by the Kingsguard, they leave forthwith."

He nods. "Go pick out your choice of guards and do as the King commands." He looks to him. "This could mean a lot for us."

"Indeed Commander. The princess has planned to visit most of the major holdings in the realm. I will scout and recruit men for Gold Cloaks at every opportunity."
Edric gathers his equipment while the men collect at the gate.
