Character Personal History:

Born the first son of Lord Jeremy Arryn and Lady Aranya Waynwood, Aldric was always treated as the oldest and heir of his family. The young boy soon had a brother and two sisters. At the age of 11 he was sent to Ironoaks to squire for his uncle Ser Thomas Waynwood. Their Aldric began to learn the sword and the lance and became an average jouster but was always better with the sword.

By 366 the Holy War had finally come to the Vale with the Red Priests and their fanatics pushing against the Bloody Gate. Aldric with his Uncle was sent to help bolster the defenses with a 1000 men from Ironoaks. Soon Lord Jeremy was forced to come himself and help rally the defenders. Some say that the constant fighting at the Bloody Gate was what changed young Aldric, before the war he had always been such a happy young man always smiling but after he became cold and distant. To protect his family Jeremy sent his wife and only daughter to stay with House Templeton. At this time Aldric was given command over a small group of loyal fighters and some Knights sworn to House Arryn. In what is now known as the Battle of the Red Hills Aldric used a small unknown Mountain Clan path to flank the Red Priests army and poison their water supply for this Aldric was Knight and many began to call the Heir to the Vale, The Young Falcon.

But tragedy struck House Arryn, secretly the Red Priests had sent a small force but ship and raided some of the Vales coastline and even tried to burn down Gulltown, though there efforts there were unsucessful they did achieve another goal, Lady Aranya Arryn and the newly made Knight Ser William Arryn were both killed when the Templeton Keep was stormed and burnt to nothingness. Aldric commanding the Vanguard of the force sent to crush the attack from the sea was first to arrive and find what had happened to his family. Seeing them dead unleashed a wave of anger and pain inside Aldric that has never left him. In the blur of the next few hours the young Knight killed the 3 brothers of House Templeton. Now those behind his back whisper that the newly named 'Bloody Knight' is crazy and should not take his fathers place.

Character Physical Description:

Aldric is considered extremely handsome with his soft brown hair flowing down to his shoulders and the soft blue eyes have captured many maidens eye. He stands a respectable 5.6 and has muscle on his frame but would never be called a large man.

Character Reputation:

The Heir to the Vale and a fine tested battle commander though he is only 19. But those rumors still circle in the Vale about what he did to the Templeton Brothers.
