"My wolf, I wound him on icy stone I am using to rebuild Winterfell, I felt it was a gift from the Old Gods and so thought to name him after it." He explained.

"You have a wolf? Is he tame? Do you hunt with him?" she asked with interest. "Stone and ice...is it always so cold in Winterfell? I think I never realised just how far to the north the Starks lived. I used to skate and build snow forts as a child, but it is hard to imagine a place where it is always so cold."

He blinks as all of a sudden is assaulted by questions. "I do have a wolf, he is tame, I do not hunt as others do however." He says answering her questions about the wolf. "It is always cold up in the north yes, I hope that does not change your mind about going." He states to her.

"A tame wolf!" she exclaimed. "Imagine such a thing! And why would a bit of cold stop me? It sounds fascinating. I-" She bit her lip, realising that she was dominating the conversation. "I'm sorry. I hope I haven't offended."

He shakes his head. "I am glad that that you take so much interest in my home. I do hope I do not disappoint you, Lady Lorraine."

"You surely wouldn't disappoint, my lord. I have been in King's Landing for quite a while now. It has been a long time since I felt real cold, or even saw snow. I am afraid I will behave like a child if there is snow at Winterfell." She smiled. "I don't know if the princess has seen snow on the ground before. It usually becomes rain as it descends in the capitol."

Wilhelm frowns, "Winterfell is still in disrepair...I would be saddened if you were harmed." He states at her statement of being childish.

"Would it be dangerous, then, to build a man of snow in the courtyard of Winterfell? We could fire arrows at them, pretending they were wights or some other creature from the old stories. We could stay outside until the sun had set and the cold had entered our very bones, then laugh and go indoors for mulled wine. That is what I think of when I imagine winter. I am sure its harder in the north, though. Especially for a man of responsibility."

He nods. "It is hard for me, however should that be what you wish to do, I will make sure it is safe for you." He states.

"That is kind of you, my lord." She stood opposite him, silent for a long while. He was too quiet, too deep within himself.
"And what was her name, Lord Stark?" She found herself musing aloud. A moment after the words came out, she covered her mouth in horror. "Forgive me, I didn't mean to ask that. You don't have to answer."

Their eyes met and she could not look away.
"I am sorry, my Lord. I just could feel that you were in mourning. And the late Lord Arryn I do not think could inspire such despair."

"No, I simply have a lot in my mind. I was to be married about a season ago, she was killed in the war." He states to her.

"I am very sorry for your loss. Did you love her very much?" She broke her eyes from his. "Terrible business, war. I, myself..." She shook her head.

Wilhelm frowns. "Lorraine...I did not know your husband well, but I was there on your wedding day. I know for a fact that he died loving you." He states.
