She looked back at him. Surely she would have remembered seeing him there? No, she had only eyes for the golden-haired one who draped his banner over her. "I am sorry. It seems every Lord and Ser I meet knew him well, and recognizes me from that day, and I know not a one of them."
"I should not have broached the subject. You just look in need of comfort. Perhaps I thought I could help."

"How would you comfort me, Lorraine?" He asks her.

"You could talk to me, if you wished. Sometimes I find that speaking the words is comfort enough, when I've kept them inside so long I could scream them." She thought of her cousins, who came to her with skinned knees when they'd been doing something they shouldn't. Perhaps what comforted a boy would help a man also. But what did she know of men?

"I would not mind talking to you Lorraine. You seem Intelligent and I would like to have conversation with you" Discarding the idea of screaming.

"Thank you, my lord. I am pleased you find me so." She bowed her head to him, in deference. "Should I leave you to your thoughts for now? Or could I perhaps persuade you to show me around the keep?"

He smiles. "Come I do not mind showing you around, I enjoy your company."

"That too, is kind, my lord. You are not so stone-hearted as they say." She followed behind him. "What would you show me?"

"Did you think I was stone-hearted before meeting me?" He asks her standing up.

"I was not sure what to think of you, but you looked like you might have been. Most seem afraid to approach you."

"I think you are a man who thinks much more than he speaks. You love your home and your country." She considered him, taking in his full height. "Perhaps being quiet and keeping to oneself is construed as stone-hearted."

"You are wise, Lady Lorraine...I do not meet many like you." He states. "Tell me you like to hunt?"

"I do. I find riding through the woods at a breakneck speed to be terribly exciting. The best part of the hunt, really. And to fire on the stag...that is good as well, but I prefer the chase."

She glanced up at him, surprised by the invitation. "I would like that very much, my lord."
