"Like an Arryn. Like my father." Aldric smiles, he still offers his father an arm to lean on.

Aldric checks his clothes then slowly walks over to the door and opens it himself.

Aelinor took in a deep breath and released it. "Thank you", she smiled at the servant and proceeded into the chamber. "Hello again Lord Arryn,"she smiled,"I am now not the tatter, dirty little mess you saw earlier."
She noticed the meal setting, it was nice, and very personal. Aelinor smiled at the table adorned with the food for them to share.

Aldric turns to Princess Aelinor, "I wish for us to speak in private if that is alright. If you have a guard they may wait outside. Also before I send the servants away is there anything you would like Your Highness?"

"Oh no, my guards are elsewhere", she nodded,"I am alone." She looked about her,"No, everything is fine."

Aldric nods to servant, "Thank you." He shuts the door leaving himself and the Princess very much alone. Turning back to Aelinor, "Please take a seat. I hope you enjoy the view."
Aldric unleashed his secret weapon the very beauty of the Vale. From the balcony the view was amazing with the Gates of the Moon far under them to in the distance the rolling hills and finally in the distance the snow tipped peaks of the Mountains of the Moon.

She sits and looks out at the mountains, the sky everything she had seen on her way up to the Castle. "It is very beautiful and the air is different here." Aelinor smiled,"I saw this view earlier, it is.. Breathtaking, if that is the word to describe justfully."
"And you get to live here..."Aelinor looked at him.

"Yes it is why I have always believed that as an Arryn we are blessed by the Seven." Aldric takes a seat and picks up a small piece of cheese taking a bite he then washes it down a sip of water, "I of course have to thank you for coming all the way here and of course recognising me as a potential suitor."

The princess smiles, drinking from her glass,"And you are welcome, and actually it was my father who suggested the houses for me to visit." Her violet focusing on him,"I know you have probably heard that I am a bit of a bookworm, so I did not leave Kings Landing. This is my first time."
She tried the cheese,"Everything I know about my father's kingdom I learned from the Grand Maester's vast library of knowledge."
"And yes you were thought to be a potential suitor."she smiled again.

"Ah your father a very wise man and a great King." Aldric smiles seeming to think that was enough said about his Majesty, "So tell me more about growing up in Kings Landing."

She shrugged, grabbed another piece of food,"I was the youngest, so basically I got what I wanted, but it was decided that I should be able to do more." Aelinor smiled,"So the Grand Maester was given permission to basically take me and teach everything."
"I didn't play as much as my siblings, or got to see the tournaments. I knew that kingdom through their information." She looked at him,"But growing up I never wanted for anything..."

"It is a rare honour to be taught by the Grand Maester himself." Taking a drinking and smiling at Aelinor, "I must admit I am jealous. My teaching was given to my by Uncle Ser Thomas Waynwood. He was a kind and paitent man but he had a temper on him. I remember once I let his mail shirt get rust on it boy he made me scrub the great hall of Ironoaks."

Aelinor laughed and nodded,"Well my mischief was me running around with my twin sibling playing tricks on the Maester when I didn't want to do my lessons for the day." She ate more of her meal, relaxing a little more.
