Aldric laughs at that, "A sense of humour as well. I fear a becoming more and more impressed by you Aelinor. I will be jealous when you leave here with Lord Stark."

"I must agree that it is only fair." Aldric finishes off his dessert and stands taking his wine and stands looking out at the Vale, "Are you looking for the fabled love at first site Aelinor or do you simply want the suitor who suits you the best."

Aelinor joins him at the balcony, looking into her goblet again,"I do not believe in love at first sight, Lord Aldric."She smiled,"Why do you think I am on the chase? And I want the suitor who suits me best but I am also what he wants for himself, not for his house or his lands."
Taking her last sip,"I want him to want me, for me.'

Aldric offers Aelinor the bottle, "Then may I say that, Princess Aelinor Targaryen I would wish for you to marry me. I will admit that I was heistant to begin with but hearing of your life and desires you have stolen my heart. I know I can not force you into anything and must see you leave the Eyrie but I do wish that you will return." Aldric smiles softly and looks deeply into Aelinor's purple eyes.

Aelinor refused the bottle with a smile and a shake of her head,"Lord Aldric, I do not know what to say to that." She stared into his eyes,"You have been very gracious to me and I find that lovely. You have offered yourself to me to marry and I find that noble." Aelinor smiled,"And I will consider you on my continued journeys. I have never been with someone quite like you."
She looked out at the view again,"Lord Aldric, please forgive me If I say that I will be leaving in the morning." Aelinor gazed at him,"I have a lot of land to cover and there is someone I have to do a favor for, it is very important."

Aldric nods his head, "Of course it is understanding Winterfell is a long trip away." Taking her hand Aldric kisses the princess softly on her cheek as he withdraws Aelinor can feel something small in her hand, "Something to remember me by. It is a necklace that was once my mother. A falcon of House Arryn in flight cluthing a small diamond in its talons."

She received the kiss with a smile, blushing slightly until she sees his gift. Aelinor looks surprised,"Lord Aldric, I...."She nodded,"Thank you..."
"I will go to my quarters now",she smiled at him again, her violet eyes gazing into his."Good night Lord Arryn." Aelinor walked to door, leaving for her room and to find Lorraine.

Aldric sits down at the table and lowers his head, "I am sorry father but she... she was unlike any other woman. She has stolen my heart and if she were to marry another it will be like you never having mother."
