"What a strange man." Felric thought as he got up and began to leave. He had his appointment with the Grand Maester after all, even though it was tomorrow. As he walked down the long, echoing hall he slowed and stopped. The dragon skulls were still staring at him. He stared back, lost in thought. Fire and Blood...

Arthur went to Cedric and the Lannister. "Good Evening you two. How was the bedding ceremony?"

"Well, to be honest I'm glad you live here. I can personally attest that the long travel was barely worth it, due to certain, ah, outbursts during the proceedings. Perhaps you will have to give me a tour around the city? I have never been to King's Landing before, and I do not understand how people get around in this city. The buildings are too close for my liking, and I fear that if I explored the city alone I would be lost for weeks."
Cedric did not hear the Hightower approach. "Oh, it was pretty uneventful. The two just kind of wondered off."

Arthur laughed, "What's uneventful about seeing the Crown Prince and Princess naked?"

"My King, you must understand Winterfell was built by a Stark and it will be rebuilt by a Stark. I will not ask for you to waste your money and men on this. Thank you again my King, have a pleasant Evening." He stands and bows to the king.

"Oh, you misunderstand. The two scooted up the stairs before anyone could get to them. Fast little buggers."

Arthur laughed again. "I heard dragons are fast," he dropped into a serious mood' "Pod Baelish has fled King's Landing."

Lorraine was glad the conversation had taken a more pleasant turn than the others she had had today. "I enjoy the city. I lived here for several years as a child and the Princess Aelinor is a good friend of mine. Going back to my family's seat after living in the city was quite disappointing for me, before the War of the Red Priests, so I guess I am used to city life. I would be glad to show you around someday. We could begin with the gardens of the Lannister Manse. They are quite possibly the most beautiful in the city." Lorraine realized she had said quite a lot. She was not herself today.
"The bedding never happened, and disappointed everyone!" She said to Ser Hightower, who had joined them. "Who is Pod Baelish?" she asked with interest.

Cedric raised an eyebrow. "Oh, has he? I'm sure he has just gone back to the Fingers. The wedding and feast are done with, and he does not strike me as the tourney type. Is there really any reason for him to stay?"
He turned back to the Lady Lannister. "He is the son of the current Lord Baelish, and was the one who shouted out during the middle of the wedding. Now, the gardens you say? I must confess, I grew fond of the ones in Highgraden during my stay there. I would love to have a chance to visit them, and I'm sure we can find a time before the tourney. I trust you will be attending it in the company of the princess?"

"It's the way he left that got me. He was drunk and had nearly all his belongings with him. I know Pod hasn't touched wine in years, so what made.him drink now? It might've been me. We jested about the tourney and I joked that I had.better not see him in the melee."

"I understand Lord Wilhelm, can not break your pride or your ancestry, just understand your house is well respected by the crown and if you need anything, simply ask." He bows his head as he departs.

"Ah, him." Lorraine remembered the man who had gotten up and made Ser Hightower's interruption all the more noticeable. She glanced at Hightower, who seemed apologetic and concerned for this "Pod" fellow. "I do hope your friend will be alright, Ser," she said to Hightower, touching his sleeve with the tips of her fingers.
"I hope you won't be disappointed, Ser Cedric, but I fear they are nowhere near as splendid as those at Highgarden. I had almost forgotten about the tourney...there has been so much excitement these past few weeks! I will be there, yes, with the Princess Aelinor. Are you intending to compete?"

The Hightower chuckled, "I'm competing if anyone is asking! Though I doubt I ride as well as Cedric."

"Try not to drink so much before the tourney, Ser Arthur, and I am sure you will do well enough."
