A seven-pointed star broken in half adorns the cover. A single line is written on the first page which reads: "Your Gods are dead, and only the ignorant weep."

The Second Sons have been dealt with. A shame their benevolent gods did not warn them they were walking into an ambush. Their captain was thrown in the well, left to rot in preparation for his Trial of Faith.
But that must wait for my return. The Faith must be repaid for their encroachment on my territory. Fletcher has informed me that two of my dear half siblings are to be wed. It would be rude of me not to visit and pay my respects.
