A small black leather book with "The Bear" written in white letters on the cover and yellowish white pages on the inside.

The sun is going to come up soon, I'm going to King's Landing for the wedding of the Targaryen. Two siblings getting married...what a weird world we live in. My horse is ready and I'm going with 6 of my men, we're going by boat 'till the shore, maybe stop at Deepwood Motte, then cross the Wolfswood and to the Kingsroad.
It will be a long trip.

We're in the Wolfswood now, it's been snowing a bit, but it'll be no problem. There's not too much to do here other than keep going. We've just broke our fast and should be going in a few minutes.

We passed in front of Torrhen's Square yesterday, a few townsflok were staring, but nothing else. We're camping by the Kingsroad now, we've still got lots to eat, but when it's gone, we'll have to hunt.

We're staying at Moat Cailin for the nigth, not the greatest shelter ever but it's a roof over my head, so it's good. I'm wondering if we should go to White Harbour and take a ship to King's Landing, two of my men said it would be easier and quicker, one said that the Kingsroad was the way to go and the other ones would just go with what I say.....damn these people...
Hyde hates sailing, even having lived in Bear Island all these years, he just hates it

White Harbour, we're going by ship to King's Landing. I know it's a lot faster, but sailing just isn't my thing. We'll stay here for the night, we've got time.
Not as long of a trip after all.

We've bought some food, everything stinks of fish, reminds me of home, we'll leave on the morrow, a friend of mine Elroy Snow decided to help us, we'll go on his ship.

We're on the ship, passed the Three Sisters about an hour ago, it's been a quiet day, almost noon, Elroy needs to make a stop at Old Anchor. I'll write again when we get there.

Old Anchor, lovely place...We're at some man's inn, I didn't catch his name but I guess it won't be of importance. Elroy's talking with the man, I didn't ask why he had to come to Old Anchor, his busines is his busines. Two of my men went looking for whores, I told them that if they weren't here when Elroy finished his busines I would leave them, the other's are with me drinking beer, one of them ordered a soup.
At least it's not as stinky here, we're getting closer to the south, everything starts to smell exotic....southerners....
The page was a little bit smashed and part of the bottom had been ripped off.

Back on the ship, last night a druken old man started asking questions and just "talking drunk talk", he tried to take my journal and things started to get ugly. Long story short I broke his nose and had to wait on the boat....I'm ashamed of myself but proud at the same time....it was a beautiful punch.

The ancient, beautiful Dragonstone. The dragons look so real, it must have taken them ages to build it, such an stunning view, from Targaryen to Baratheon and from Baraethon to Targaryen... We'll be going to take The Gullet and then be in King's Landing, I hope, looks like we're going to have a little storm I still have time and Elroy said it would be no problem...I hope so....

I haven't written here in days, turns out it wasn't just a little storm, it was a big one. After we went throught The Gullet things started to get ugly, we were playing cards in the deck when things started to fall, I went upstairs to check on Elroy and damn...It was pretty dificult to see, the rain was too strong, I called my men to help. We got to The Harbour pretty late at night, almost dawn and there were some times we almost hit the rocky shore, but we made it.
After that I went to take quick bath in the first bath house I found, it was kind of expensive, I left my men there and told them to stay in the harbour until I was back, I said farewells to Elroy who had more important busines and went on my horse as fast as I could. I got to The Great Sept all sweaty, took a seat next to a Baelish whose name was Ser Podrick, drank some wine and a fellow northman came to talk to me, Felric Crowl was his name, a tall lad. I ended up sleeping and when I woke up everyone was gone, I decided to come to a inn, I didn't sleep well, it was noisy. I'll go to ask Lord Wilhelm if he could let me stay at the Stark Manse for the time I'll be on King's Landing. And about my men...they're from the north, they can handle it for a few days...

I talked to Wilhelm today, he said I could stay in a small quiet room, that'll have to do. I'll sleep now, the tourney's tomorrow. Ah, how exciting.

The tourney's today, first of all I'll shave my beard. I hope to find a squire, I can take care of myself, only that with a squire it'd be a lot easier. I'll wear the Mormont cloack my father gave me, it is a special occasion...my first tourney. I'll get going now, I still have to break my fast, shave, get dressed and organize my things for the tourney.

I lost in all three competitions, Podrick is a bloody tough man. At the end he asked me to go with him and Lord Wilhelm to find Ice, I would've liked to stay in King's Landing a little longer, but there was nothing else to do here. I'm packing my things and we'll meet at the Harbour on the morrow. It seems I forgot to tell him about my men at the Harbour, I hope we all fit in the ship. I'll go for a walk before going to sleep....
