The Year is 371 A.L
Westeros has just ended the War of the Seven and Fire. R'hllor red priest are leaveing Westeros after signing a treaty and leaveing a warning. "The Shadow comes, and he brings death without the Light of R'hllor." To some it is nonsense a false god is not needed to protect Westeros as they have done before.
The North has been hit badly by the war Winterfell burned and the Starks lost their past lord when a Red Priest burned their Godswood. Their new lord, Wilhelm has just be given the Lord title and has much to rebuild.
The Vale was not hit as badly as the Arryns and other Vale lords were able to hold the Red Priests at the Blood Gate. Lord Jeremy Arryn watched the Red priests attempt to pass and burn the Blood Gate however to no avail. Some managed to get into by Sea however with few towns lost they were untouched.
The Riverlands was caught in a Mix from the Invading Red Priests the Tullys had to call for aid, the Lannisters who were untouched by the Red priests came to the Aid of the Riverlands, however unable to save half of the Riverlands many were left in flame.
The Iron Islands thought of a good time to fight with their own God, the Drowned God, They attacked the Red Priests with their Drowned Priests and it only seemed to end in steam. While the Great Sept allowed them to fight they would not allow them to fight underneath their god. This caused the Iron Islands to Attack the Riverlands and the North gaining some terrtory only to loose it from fighting the Lannisters in the west and the red priests in the north.
The Westerlands were untouched mostly by the war, this made them able to lend support to their allies and grow money leaving them quite wealthy. They are one of the more powerful houses remaining.
The Crownlands were hit however after the event of the Dragons attacks so close to Kings Landing stopped, with the Kings kingsguard commanding dragons the red priests thought of them to be symbols of their lord yet were misguided when it led to their downfall.
The Stormlands were not as badly hit however they have been placed under watch in case should they wish to rise again. Storms End is no friend to the king however they do not wish to bring upon the wrath of the now shown dragons.
The Reach was hurt from forces from the Dorne, who had converted to R'hllor quite quickly. House Tyrell and Highgarden was sacked and almost nearly the family was murder only leaving a 10 year old son who was at Kings Landing at the time by request of the kings daughter.
The Dorne, being arid and full of deserts the red priests felt at home there, and placed many red priests there, however seeing the king and his dragons after the attacks on the reach dragons were set guarding the entrance into the reach. It was also of the Dorne where many red priests are to be removed with their removal Septons and Septas return to the Dorne to rebuild the Septs under careful eyes of the Kings men.
