"Bandits?" The princess looked at Lorraine, with not having any fighting experience she does as she is told and remained in the wagon. She saw the men running to their convoy, she closed her eyes and began to pray again, thinking"I should have stayed at the Eyrie, this would never have happened if I had just waited another day."
Then the little dragon opened her eyes from her prayers. "I will not be taken", she shuttered at the thought and grabbed a dagger she had found inside the wagon.

"Pull yourself together, you can't keep missing like this. This is a real fight." She took aim again, determined to do much better this time. She saw the men falling, feathered with arrows or bloodied by slashes from swords. It made her feel ill...but she still raised her bow.

They were getting tired. He could see that plain as day. The mountain men kept coming fresh into the fight, while the gold cloaks had made a ragged line and had to hold it. They were doing well... but he hoped it would not go on for much longer.
