The man whispers back. "He can not have two hearts....hes not a lord of time or something mythical like that."

This man was a wolf. He would not hesitate to kill him in a heartbeat if he thought Gerold was a danger.
"I... WANT..... WHAT..... YOU... WANT..."
Gerold felt his windpipe constrict.
"Wall..... Winter...."
With his last bit of air, he gasped out one more word.
"Others."

"if you would please",she smiles as Lorraine gets up,"I think, as much I really do not want to believe it.." She sighed looking at the necklace,"We didn't have any trouble starting our journey... We didn't even have trouble at the Eyrie." She looked at Lorraine,"It all started after we left."
Shaking her head,"I don't know... But I refuse to stop our journey, unless the Gods themselves give me another sign."

Wilhelm lets down the man and glares at him. "What nonsense is this, the Others have not been seen since the time of my Great Uncle. What do you know of Castle Black?" He barked he places a hand on his greatsword.

"Perhaps they are, perhaps they aren't. I do think the Lord of the Eyrie would love to have kept you there...though I know it will be trying as he transitions into his new position as Lord, especially while still grieving for his father." She sighed.
Lorraine slipped her silken robe on again, tying the front securely. "I'll be right back with the best this inn has on offer." She went out the door and down the stairs into the common room.

Stark wouldn't listen to reason, and Gerold couldn't exactly outline his discoveries from the Citadel with a sword to his throat, and certainly not in public. He only had one card left.
"I'M GEROLD HIGHTOWER. If you kill me, you'll start a war, and likely get denounced for murder. How many other people in Westeros have only one blue eye?"

Lorraine reached the bottom of the stairs and found the whole inn in an uproar. Lord Stark and some strange man with a single blue eye... she covered her mouth with one hand and gasped. It was only a few minutes at the most since Stark had left their chambers, and already it was a conflict that had Stark's hand on his sword.
She sidled over the the innkeeper, who also was staring at the confrontation, muttering about damage and things to himself. "Wine, please, the best you have," she asked, in a hurry to get back upstairs behind Ladybright's door where she felt safer.

"And I am Wilhelm Stark. And you come to me like a shadow demanding my attention with nothing but a name and asking me to go off to a room alone with you? Am I to assume you friendly?" He glares looking to the man. "So talk, now." He lays his hand off his sword crossing his hands.

Gerold saw the Highborn lady walk past at the corner of his eye. He tried to get a read on her, and Stark's reaction to her. Perhaps he would find out who she was. Even with his life in such jeopardy, he was still trying to find new scraps of information.
Use Sense Motive.

Wilhelm gives him a glare of cold icy death, attempting to keep his focus on him and not on Lorraine.

Gerold slowly unbuckled his sword belt, and slid both hidden knives from his sleeves, dropping them.
"A little trust goes a long way, Lord Stark."

"The reason I wanted to speak in private is that none of what I have to tell you should be told to any other in this inn. Except for perhaps The Princess. If it makes you feel better, you can hold that Greatsword of yours to my chest while I talk, but please don't make me deliver my important, secret message to everyone in this room."

He takes a deep breath and up the steps into a room. He turns and stares at the man. "The fact you know the princess is here is enough for me to be worried about you, so talk now before I loose my temper again." He says looking at him.

Lorraine nudged the innkeep, who apparently couldn't tear his eyes away from Stark's confrontation or manage to shut his mouth. "That's how you catch flies, you know," she said. "Now....wine? Perhaps?"
