"Oh, good afternoon, Lord Stark. I hadn't noticed you." In truth, she had noticed him, but she knew he had a lot on his mind. "How passed your night?"

He smiles to her. "Not that well I am afraid, I do not like war Lorraine...I pity the ones that do...I just want to settle down and be done with it all, perhaps its my turn to have a family, perhaps its my turn to relax from it."

"I thought that once the war against the Red Priests ended, we would be able to enjoy peace for some years...but I suppose beyond the wall they do not consider such things," she said, biting her lip. She felt a weight on her shoulders that hadn't been there the day prior.

He raps his arms around her. "Perhaps......its your time to relax too." He says softly.

"Perhaps it is," she replied, resting her head against his chest. "But we are still going to travel on the morrow...and then mere days after that, you and your men will be at the Wall. There is no time to relax, my lord."

"I am sorry....more then ever would I like to be with you at my home...However I have a duty to defend the north. The north comes before my personal desires, even if they are new sweet and beautiful." He tells her.

"I am no stranger to duty. I was born a Tully, its in our words and our blood. And you are the Warden of the North, not just of Winterfell... I merely worry that our chance will not come."

He looks down to her. "It will, I promise you, I do not know how long I will be gone for, but....it would be nice to know if you were still waiting for me there." He admits to her.

"I will wait then," she said, looking up at him. "I will wait until winter comes and goes again; until you have safely returned."

"when I get back...." He says with a sigh. "I am not getting any younger Lorraine, and I do not understand nor have the age to be courting a woman properly." He says to her.

Lorraine smiled at him. "You seem to be doing well enough to me. But as I said, I have never been courted before," she teased.

"Lorraine, you have sparked something in me, something that I never thought would live again." His brow furrows. "When I get back from the wall..." He leaves it there as if to think about what to say next.

"I will be there, when you come back from the Wall, I promise you." She saw he looked upset, or at a loss for words. She touched his face, gently. "I never thought I would leave King's Landing. I thought I would stay with the Princess, be her bedmaid, her companion...but I have left the capitol and I am the better for it."

Aelinor nodded at Lord Stark's reply and then she watched as he and Lorraine did the awkward dance they do of being with one another. She smiled, very pleased with herself. Aelinor then let her eyes look towards the horizon of the bright morning.

He nods, thinking. "Then if that is the case, should you are better for it. Upon my return would you care to be my Lady Stark?" He asks her.
