Lorraine took her friend's hand and they went outside. There was a large crowd of men, mostly gold cloaks and Stark's retainers, around two men who were sparring. "Aelinor, it's my brother and Ser Edric!" They came outside just in time to see Edric and the Tully shake hands. "And we missed everything," she said with disappointment.

Edric laughs off his defeat, "You didn't miss much Lady Lorraine. Aside from my backside getting a thorough beating from your brother."

Brynden takes off his helmet and walks over to Lorraine with a smile. "How are you both? Well I hope?"

Aelinor smiled, but was a little sad to have missed the men showing their prowess."Ser Brynden, I . I am fine. I am just relieved that we lived through that horror of earlier today."
"And I thank you for being there."

Lorraine still looked disappointed. "I would have liked to see..." She realised what she said and quickly corrected herself. "I didn't mean I wanted to see you beaten, Ser Edric! I just wanted to watch you two spar, is all."

Edric laughed again, "No offense taken, my lady. We cannot better ourselves without a good beating from time to time. I have never faced an opponent with as much prowess as your brother. It's good to be challenged again."
He turns to the Princess Aelinor, "My Princess, I hope you are well. It was unfortunate that we had to fight the hill tribes. But if nothing else, I hope my men's performance has shown you that you are safe with us."
Edric turns to the call from Wilhelm. A battle, and two duels in a single day? What next? A raven from the wall saying the others have returned?
"Allow me to redeem myself after that defeat against you Wilhelm? But of course!", he saunters over for his next bout.

"Another challenge?" She watched Stark remove his heavy and cumbersome cloak. "Aelinor, we came in time for the most exciting bout!"
"Good luck, Ser Edric. I hope you will fare better in this match."

Felric moved up to join the onlookers. He had finished the wood, that was the easy part. Next came the heads. He hoped they had a forge here. "5 copper on the small one" He spoke to the man next to him.

Lorraine squeezed Aelinor's hand. "I just know Lord Stark will win, Aelinor. But won't it be humiliating if Edric loses both matches?"

"No it would not be humiliating",she smiled,"Ser Edric has proven himself more than once in battle. He is valiant and brave."
She looked at Lorraine, with a smile and nudged her playfully,"And yes you should cheer for Lord Stark."

"Perhaps humiliating is not the word. Disappointing, more like."
She blushed a little. "I had planned to."
