Lewyn Corbray was born the only son to Lord Lyonel and Lady Lysa Corbray. He grew up very close to his sister Mariana, whom he protected like she was the most important thing in the world to him. Lewyn took naturally to learning about combat though he spent many of his days scouting the surrounding countryside with his uncle Benjen.
When the war began in the Vale Lewyn was already a grown man and as his father was of ailing health he took charge of the Corbray men. He first routed the Red Priests and their men from the Snakewood before bringing his men to the Bloody Gate. There Lewyn lead several bloody battles, returning from one covered entirely in blood. Thus he had gained a Byname. He became known for setting ambushes as well as leading his men valiantly.
The eve before the greatest battle at the Bloody Gate Lord Lyonel arrived to join his son in battle. The old man knew he was too ill to ever survive but he wanted to die fighting, by his son's side. And so they rode to battle, and when Lord Lyonel's skull was struck by a hammer Lewyn took up Lady Forlorn, his father's sword, and wreaked havoc among his enemies. Lord Lyonel somehow survived but has not often left his family home since that day.
Since the war Lewyn has been tending to the Corbray lands, hunting down bandits and making sure that all was well.
Step Seven: Lewyn stands at around six foot and has mid length brown hair and blue eyes. He is handsome, though not overly so, and has a knight's physique.
Step Eight: Known to be a good commander and competent warrior.
