Lorraine watched the colors of sunset spread across the sky. "Will we make camp here, then?" she asked Lord Stark, still behind her on the horse. As the sun began to sink beyond the trees, her thighs began to ache, and she realised she was fairly tired. It had been a terribly long day.

He dismounts and lifts her into his arms. "Probably, place is good and the trees keep the cold and wind from reaching us, good place to pitch tents and make a campfire."

He insisted on carrying her, holding her close to him. She debated telling him her legs worked well enough...and decided against it, enjoying the attention he lavished upon her. "A campfire would be nice," she said, thinking of a hot meal and perhaps some mulled wine. "I am glad to be off that horse. I love riding, but not all day, and not at such a slow pace!"

He sets her down and smiles to her. "Well now we get to rest,"

Lorraine was on her own two feet once again. She surveyed the area, watching as gold cloaks dismounted everywhere; they collected and corralled the horses, set up a perimeter, and began erecting several small tents.
"To rest will be very welcome. Will your men be setting up a tent for you, my lord?" She wondered if she should find Aelinor...she was certain she would be missed.

"Most likely, are you to leave me then? to be with your lady?" He smiles to her.

Post by Princess Aelinor Targaryen on Sept 14, 2012 9:40:40 GMT -5
Aelinor walked wrapped in a thick, fur cloak she had pulled from the carriage. She had been watching Lorraine and Lord Stark like a little sister, who was watching her older sibling.
"That would not be necessary Lord Stark", she smiled at them,"Lorraine, I have to get used to you not being with me at some point." The princess looked around at the campsite, watching everyone prepare for the night to come. "Plus you two seem to be getting along very, very well..." She smiled again,"So, please", Aelinor sat on a nearby stone,"Do not worry about me..."

He looks to Aelinor, "Are you positive Princess, I would hate to take away from you more of your right." He says to her.

"Aelinor!" Lorraine had missed her friend on the long ride. She took up her friends hands. "Are you so eager to be rid of me, then?" she asked teasingly. "Perhaps tomorrow you should come out and ride with us."
She looked up at Lord Stark, aware he wanted her to stay. She too, wanted to stay...though she worried about what would be said of her in the camp. But....in a few days, they would be in Winterfell. In a few days, he would be raising an army to ride to the aid of the Knight's Watch... "Are you sure you will we fine on your own, Aelinor? And do, please do ride with us in the morning."

Wilhelm watches Lorraine run off. "Do not worry about me Lorraine, should you desire to be with your good friend I will not be one to stop you." He says to her.

Donal observed the campsite from the distance. It had been a lonely ride no other travelers but his company had been seen, until now. Standing a bit far he screamed to the guards. "Good afternoon, Sers!"

"I would not do anything against Aelinor's will, but she said she will be well enough on her own for the night and..." She smiled at Lord Stark. "That is, if I would not be in the way of anything important I would be glad to..."
She heard a commotion, a traveler riding up and announcing himself to the guards was quickly surrounded. "Goodness, you would think someone would be a bit more careful when approaching so many armed men."
((Pod, is he dressed as a red priest? Should people be worried?))

"Sorry, Ser, we mean no harm... we had a harsh journey... I'm am son of Lord Lynderly of the Vale...." He said poiting to the sigil in his doublet, under the thick fur that covered it.
