The room is small compared to the others in the Manse, but the multitude of windows leave it bright and full of light. It is dominated by a four-posted bed hung with gauzy white hangings. In winter, they are replaced by red velvet. There is a writing desk and a comfortable chair tucked away in one corner, with several locked drawers.
