"Aelinor...are you more concerned about having to go so far away? He said he only wanted to meet you, which still gives you a chance to refuse him." Lorraine squeezed Aelinor's hands. "I'm sure it will be wonderful, and I am sure you will find several young men who are worthy of you."

Lorraine almost laughed. Aelinor was so naive and so hopeful. Sometimes Lorraine forgot just how young the Princess was. "I am sure you will find someone who is perfect for you. And he will find you to be the most beautiful and intelligent and impressive woman in the realm. He will recognize your knowledge and consider carefully your opinions. I am sure of it."

Aelinor looks at Lorraine, then she chuckled,"You think I'm a fool don't you?" She sat on the end of her bed,"Maybe I have had my nose in a book too long?" Aelinor smiled.
"I am 9 and ten years, the youngest daughter of the king and I am a scholar, an intellectual and I have no idea how to get a husband... Is that not strange?"

"Not so much a fool, just young and ready for love." She smiled kindly. "I am sure most girls have no idea of how to get a husband. For some, it comes naturally, and for others, their fathers choose. I suppose you are both lucky and unlucky in that regard; lucky since you can choose for yourself, and unlucky in that it may be hard to choose. I am sure you will do well."

Aelinor nodded, she was glad to have a Lady in Waiting such as Lorraine. She gave her guidance when needed, basically she was glad that Lorraine could tell her the truth.
"I am sure I will too, since you seem to know most of the eligible Sers we are going to see", she smiled.

Lorraine was glad to be of help when needed. She really was fond of Aelinor, and considered her the sister she never had. "I only know a few of them! Though..." She thought a moment. "I am sure I have met all of them at least once. My brother-in-law married an Arryn, and the Stark was at the wedding. I grew up at Riverrun, and I married the Lannisters." She laughed now. "I guess you're right, Aelinor."

Lorraine nodded. "I am disappointed the best of them were unable to turn up for the wedding. I have heard the Old Lord Arryn is on his deathbed, though, so they certainly have an excuse. Perhaps we will make it there before he is gone."

"And it will be." Lorraine nodded with finality. "I suppose we should start gathering travelling clothes, and things. I wonder if there will be inns enough along the road, or if we will have to camp. I am hoping for inns."

"Yes we should, I am sure that my father already have the guards picked that he wants to go with us", she nodded. "And I really don't want to camp anywhere, I would rather stay at an Inn."
Aelinor smiles,"Maybe I can ask my mother to help us along as well?"

"I didn't mean for her to go, of course not", she shook her head,"I just wanted to see what she had to say."
"Oh wait, shouldn't there be ravens sent to let them know we are coming?" Aelinor then had a thought,"Wait let's do that before my father announces it to the whole kingdom at the tournament."
