He grinned for Lady Sansa, turned to the knights near him and gave them a tap in the back. "Come, lads, let's get prepared for the jousts."

Ser Edric gives a final nod to Lady Lorraine before he turns to Ser Arthur.
"I will assume this is not meant as a memento of my victory, but as a warning of our future bouts?"

Aymery just looked sullen, picking himself up out of the dust. He had done well enough...yes, he saw his father applauding him from the stands...certainly better than he had thought to do, beating a seasoned warrior like Baelish. Perhaps his father would get what he wanted; Aymery farmed out as a squire to one of these knights. He stalked off the field.
-------
Lorraine waved at Ser Edric as he and the other men went back to ready themselves and their steeds for the joust.

Sansa continued to be in thought more interested in Lorraine and what she had to say than the others bustling around them. "I see. I am sorry, I am just trying to figure out where you are from. Events like these do allow me to add more current information to the books that I have read. I do remember a Tully being wed to a Lannister somewhere in some scrolls. Do you know my Aunt Lady Melantha? She was wed to the Lannister household as well."

Arthur turned to Edric "Oh yes."
He ran to the Westerling boy, "You fought well."

Nestor did not talk to anyone after his two events. He just took off his helm and the armor on his torso. He gave them all to his squire, Jory. Jory had a sorrowful face on after seeing Nestor lose in the first round of both events. "Maybe you should have entered into the archery contest, you are Okay with a longbow." Jory says trying to cheer him up. Nestor just sends him a dark glare. "We are leaving. No reason to stay in Kingslanding any longer." Jory looks up at him, saddened. "But Ser, we could make connections here! It could help improve your station." Nestor takes off his shirts and notices he is covered in bruises from the events. He shakes his head in disappointing before leaving the grounds

Lorraine laughed. "She's sitting down there. The Lady Melantha is my mother-in-law." She gestured to the mass of Lannister red and gold...they always seemed to travel in packs. "My husband was Ser Tytos, your aunt's second son. Unfortunately he died not long after we were wed...in the war of the Red Priests." She looked distant for a moment, then asked, "I wonder if it was strange for Lady Melantha...since your family fought on the side of the Red Priests, and they were the ones who killed her son?"
-----
Aymery looked up from the dust at the young Knight following him. He frowned when he realised it was Hightower, the Knight who beat him. "Uh, thanks. So did you. You beat me."

"Aymery, do you want to be my squire?" the Hightower looked down on him. "I could show you all of Westeros. The Wall to Oldtown.

I see that her gods didn't help me much... Even tough Pod went to Sansa. "My princess, the odds were not in my side today... but take this as a present in return of your favour." He unatached his mockingbird pin and gave it to her.

Aymery frowned. Squire...just what his father had hoped for, then... "Oldtown?" He brightened. "I would like to travel, and to visit Oldtown."

"It's hard work. Taking care of my armor and weapons, training day after day. Let's go talk to your father about it." Arthur said.

"I am sorry to hear about your husband," Sansa said with genuine sorrow, "It was a shame what happened. I have reflected and prayed before the Seven in the Great Sept asking for forgiveness for what happened. I believe it hurt her deeply to lose a son, I do not know what else she feels towards my family." Sansa considered a moment and shifted her feet slowly. "It is sad that even my sister has offended you and it seems like there might be tension between our two families."
With grace Sansa shifted and curtsied for the man who gave her the gift, "Thank you Ser, it is very kind of you."

"Farewell for you too, Lady Lorraine" He noded at her. "Lars, let's go boy I need to get out of this armor..." The boy came running and they went to the pavillions.

Trajan got to his feet, dusting his black armor off, careful to make sure his greathelm was still covering his face. He was disappointed to have lost in the first round, clearly having spent too much time as of late in the woods rather than ahorse.
The Heretic bowed before the King's box, dropping a small metal object on the ground as he did so and departed before anyone could inspect it. Upon looking closer, one would discover a seven pointed star split down the middle, the personal sigil of the Heretic Brotherhood.

Aymery didn't think it would be too hard. As a squire, he would frequent taverns and serenade all the maidens with his harp. And he would be out of the Crag, that crumbling pile of rocks, and... "Yes, lets go talk to my father." Aymery looked happier than he had since they had arrived in King Landing
-----
Lorraine smiled at Ser Podrick. "I am sorry you lost, Ser. But I remember how you beat Cedric the other day."
"Thats a lovely brooch, Lady Sansa. Would you like me to help you attach it?" She peered at the brooch in the Dornishwoman's hands. "I am sorry, I should have considered your own feelings. How was it to be faithful to the seven while all your kin fought for R'hllor?" She looked pensive. "I am sure she has forgiven her kin. We are all of Westeros, and we should live in peace. I wish for no more war." She thought of the Riverlands and how they had been ravaged by the flames of the Red Priests. She thought of the Stark, who had been in Kings Landing so briefly, and who left to rebuild.
