"So wanting to ease the pain of another human is strange to you, Lord Stark? If you were a stableboy who lost his favorite kitten, I would help you find it."

"I did not say it was strange, I wondered why, you are different, you are not normal then the rest, you are strong. That is why I spend my time on you, because I feel you deserve it. It is something I have not seen in a while." He states looking straight ahead.

"Then I haven't an answer for you. I do what seems right. Sometimes I get caught up in my surroundings, but in a place so serene and lonely as this..." She let go of his waist, the horse being stationary, and sat up straighter. "What did you expect of me, then, my lord?"

"I expected nothing for who you are Lorraine. I could ask for nothing else." He says to her. "You seem like a noble woman, a lady who attempts to do what is best for her family and friends, even should it not be the best thing for you...you have surprised me in may ways Lorraine."

"Then I am glad to have exceeded your expectations. I also did not expect that you would take an interest in me... and certainly not to be taken on a hunt, even a bloodless one, just a short time after arriving at the Eyrie." She looked away, thinking of Aelinor.

He dismounts and turns to look at her. "And why shouldn't I? I do not care about blood or about time. It was what you wanted, it was what made you happy." He states staring at her.

Lorraine looked back, blue eyes into grey ones. "It made me very happy, Lord Stark," she said quietly. "I don't trust happiness, because it never lasts."

"Now, only one of us needs to be cold as ice. Not you....never you." He smiles up to her. "Starks stay true to their words..."

Lorraine could not help but smile back. "And what words are those, 'Winter is coming'? They are as true as any. Winter always comes, sooner or later."

"It is not only words in literal scene, To say winter is coming also means that you need to be ready for the hard times, so that you are ready to stay on your feet." He smiles. "That is why I never ask you to be cold, because you are always bright."

"You seem to know me well, my lord. I will do my best to be as bright as you can stand." She pulled her hood up around her face, shivering a little. The wind was not so strong here, and in the shelter of the trees, it was warmer than on the side of the mountain.

Wilhelm takes off his Fur cloak, draping it up and around Lorraines shoulders. "There....I would not want you to get a chill"

"Thank you," She said, clutching the cloak around her shoulders. She was buried in it. "Perhaps we should go back. Aelinor may be done with her meeting with the Lord. She will expect me to be there." She looked back the way they had come, seeing only trees. Half of her was eager to return, and the other half wanted to stay... the forest air was fragrant of leaves and mulch and soil. She watched Stark.

"If that is what you want, I was thing we could walk around the forest and talk, that was your request after all. However if you are too cold, we could make our way back." He says, feeling perfectly fine in the weather.

"I..." She bit her lip. "We should stay then, just a bit longer." She slid off the horse's back, coming to stand at his side. The deer had fled long ago, she noticed. She hadn't even seen it run. "And no, I'm not too cold."
