He looks back and slows down to ride next to Lorraine. "Yes my dear?" He asks.

She smiled, pushing her hood down so she could ride alongside him and speak more freely. "You've been riding up here with your men all afternoon. I thought I would come say hello."

He smiles to her. "Well hello, Lorraine. You did not miss me too much?"

"Just a little," she teased. "I was wondering where we were, and I thought you would be the one to ask," she added more seriously.

"We will be approaching Winterfell soon, would you like to ride with me again until we get there?" He smiles.

"Already? I didn't think we were so close already!" She looked around, far more interested in the trees and the stones that littered the landscape when she realized they were his lands...the whole of the north was his. She looked at him excitedly. "I would like to, yes. I'd like to see Winterfell for the first time at your side."

He chuckles and raps his arms around her waist again moving her over to his horse as he did the day before, making sure to rap his fur cloak around her. "And so you shall." He smiles.

She laughed when she felt him pick her up. "That wasn't what I expected!" She was securely before him on the horse, warmly wrapped in his arms and his cloak. "It also isn't as cold as I thought it would be. The way you described it, I was sure the trees would be heavy with snow and all the rivers frozen over." She shook her head in mock disapproval.

"We have not reached Winterfell yet, and it is also the middle of summer so its probably not as cold as it will be." He smiles at her. "Do not be so hard on me yet."

"I can already feel a change in the air," she said, "unless I am imagining things. It seems almost easier to breathe here." She adjusted her seat, trying to become comfortable.

"I am glad you like it already." He says to her.

She smiled. "I do. I so look forward to seeing everything, meeting everyone, and learning all I need to be a proper Lady of Winterfell. And I want to see one of those trees, the ones with the faces." She shivered. Perhaps the gods of the south couldn't reach into the north, where they worshipped trees and things she didn't understand.

Wilhelm smiles and strokes Lorraine's red long hair he turns so he can kiss her. "You will be fine, do not worry."

Lorraine sighed, hoping everything would turn out for the best. At the back of her mind gnawed the fact that as soon as they reached Winterfell, Lord Stark... Wilhelm, she reminded herself, thinking of how pleased he had looked when she managed to call him by his given name. He would be riding to the Wall and battle. She pressed her hand to her stomach again, wondering if he had gotten her with child. She tried her best to push those worries back down. There was time enough for that later.
"I am sure I will be," she said, enjoying the kiss. "I know I worry far too much."

Aelinor nodded with a smile as Lorraine left her to be by Lord Stark's side. She let her horse march along as she looked at the scenery, which hadn't changed save the few animals here and there.
