The boy got up. He was unusually tall, with scraggly brown hair. "No, I mean what are you doing here?" he asked, waving his hand to indicate Castle Black. "You're a Red Priest, aren't you?"

"I came to take the black... And aye, do you have any problem with it?" He said with an inquisitive look.

The boy frowned. "I lived all my life in a village in the riverlands, and then you Red Priests burned it all."

Donal looked at the ground, he felt sorry for the boy. "Ooooh... I'm sorry, lad. If it helps I must say that I ain't part of those barbarians who burned innocents, those are4 no Priests at all... I've fled Westeeros at young age trying to avoid war... My whole family worships the faith and I have a deep respect for it... So... How long have you been here?" He said trying to ease the heavy aura that he created...

"Couple of weeks, no more," he replied, still uneasy around the man. "Who are your family, do they live still in Westeros?"

"Aye...I'm Donal Lynderly, son Lord Lynderly of Snakewood in the Vale... That's why my companions across the sea called me The Fire Snake..." He said in a proud tone. "And what's your name, boy?"

"A lordling?" he laughed a little. "A Red Priest and a lordling." He shook his head. "I'm Willas Taylor."
(gotta go, sorry)

"Don't be reluctant... I'm not like the others, Lordlings nor those other Red Priests, in my entrainment I lived for a long time in the streets of Braavos beging for food to leanr about humility.... It's been a harsh time... But let's not talk about the past, when do they serve meal here? I'm quite hungry..." He grinned. (No prob, we keep on when you return )

Willas gave Donal a long look, considering him. He wasn't sure what to make of the man. Unlike the majority of the men who had burned his village, he was Westerosi. He would judge the man later. Until then... "They serve dinner in an hour. Think you can wait that long?"

"An hour...." He said toughtfuly. "Then come take a walk with me and lets talk..." He started walking. "So what brings a southron to the ends of the world?"

Willas looked from the man to the men drilling. He was supposed to be paying attention to their technique and learning from it but... The master at arms was allowing the men to disperse in preparation for the upcoming meal. He got up, deciding to follow the strange newcomer. "Got caught stealing cattle. They rode down me and my brother, but only I got caught." He shrugged. "And so I came to take the black. For all your shock at seeing a riverlander, you must not have looked at yourself. What are you doing here, Priest?"

"Fine, don't tell me," he said, grinning. "Since I came to the Wall I believe in a lot more things than I used to."

He ignored the boys statement. " It started many moons ago... I was training in my room in Braavos, looking in the flames trying to find something that doesn't seemed like coal and ashes then suddenly, with my eyes almost meltinG, I saw your Wall here, a great shadow was gathering beyond it, and yet I stood with our fellow brothers of the watch upon a tall tower with blue firing creeping on it's top... This vision brought me here, I first landed on the Finger's were Lord Baelish gave me a warm welcome sending me to the dungeons, there I improved my skills until his son, my friend, Podrick Baelish released me and sent me here... I came here not to take the black but to help you hold the kingdom... but I was scorned by Rivers, then I realised that really taking the black was my destiny... I'll have to forsake my red robes when I swear my oath but I hope R'hllor will help me anyway..." He sighed.

Willed rolled his eyes. "I'm sure your god won't care which color if robes you wear. And the Lord Commander, well, he is a hard man, but fair. He has been commander the past 30 years and more so he is well known and well trusted. I am sorry for your hardship but I'm sure everyone is wary of your kind now. My village wasn't the only one to burn, you know."
