"Aye... I... I... once had a love... right before I left... she was a young peasant girl... I managed to have her accept the Lord Of Light... " A tear drop filled his eyes. "She lived in a village near Snakewood... until... until they came.. they didn't care who lived in the village Faith or Lord of Light... they burned it down... she was in there... those monsters..."

"That's sad," Willas agreed. "I was only thirteen when they came. My little sister Jeyne was but seven. She's gone too. I try not to think about it too much." He didnt tell the man that he was so hungry in the days before the village burned that his mouth had watered at the smell of cooking human flesh as his loved ones died.

"Come then... Show me the way to the common hall"

"It's here," said Willas, gesturing to a low building a ways away. They went inside, finding long, low tables bordered by benches. They were the first ones there, aside from a few men who were laying out the food. "We're early," Willas observed.

Beverley was conducting training in the yard, as usual, watching the men spar and occasionally adjusting their grip or kicking their legs farther apart.
He had yet to see the Red Priest and shook his head. Late riser, maybe.

Donal woke in the morning, he had a deep sleep even knowing the Wall was sieged. He saw the master at arms training the boys in the yard. "Morning, Ser, How was your sleep?"

Beverley turned around only after the bout had ended. "Fair enough," he said. "You seem to have slept for hours. Like the dead." He laughed.

Donal blushed behind his beard. "Sorry, Ser, I haven't fit the swing of things here in the North, yet... So what have you got for me?"

He picked up a practice sword and chucked it to the priest. "Shall you and I have a go again? If you're well enough rested, that is," he teased, squaring off against his opponent.

"Rested enough..." He grabbed the sword. "Ser, don't mind if I bruise you a bit..." He grinned.

"There you go threatening again," Beverley growled. He did not speak another word, instead rushing at Donal, sword set to strike him.
(post your action and what roll you wish to make)

He stood his ground and prepared for the incoming foe.
Longsword - Noteworthy
(Totally forgot about the roll)

Donal tried to parry the blow but Beverley was too quick for him and slammed his sword into The center of the priest's breastplate. Donal fell back, striking his head against the ground.
A moment later he awoke to Beverley grinning down at him. "A little more beauty sleep, eh Priest?" He laughed and offered him a hand.

Grabbing Beverly's hand he smiled and said. "You got me distracted, ser... Two out of three?!?!"

"Why the hell not?" said Beverley, squaring off again. "That is, if you're alright to go again?"
