Lord Wilhelm is seen passing the Bloody Gate. The House Royce Bannermen have seen the Lord Paramount before and let him pass without much question.

Aelinor rode slowly looking at the massive gate to the Eyrie,"I have only read of this.." Her violet eyes studied the structure as her hood slowly fell around her ears.

Edric turns to the Princess, "As have I, your Grace. Truly magnificent."
Edric yells to the Royce bannermen atop the gate.
"Princess Aelinor and her guard seeks passage into The Eyrie. Lord Arryn and his son shall be expecting us."

She smiled, still looking at the gate,"It is Ser Edric... I feel as I have been a guilded bird being at Kings Landing."

Felric rode at the back of the group staring upward at the mountains, the true mountains. Crowned in white, draped in green and brown, they were Kings, lording over all the land. Turning to more practical matters, he then looked at what seemed meager fortifications covering the path between the kings. Built into the side of the mountains, bristling with battlements, arrow slits, and pots that could be filled with oil. He could see where it got it's name. There would be a bloodbath trying to take it.

Edric smiles back at Aelinor, "Well, what better place to regain your wings than in the domain of the Arryns?"

Aelinor chuckled,"I agree, and I think since leaving the Keep, I feel a little freer already." She looked at the Castle, she thought whoever built this was a genius. "I had heard that Lord Arryn was of ill health, hopefully he will be able to see us.."

Edric nods his head.
"I have not heard news from the Eyrie since the first reports of Lord Arryn's illness. Let's hope he has recovered, for young Aldric's sake."

"Yes, let's hope", she looked at him,"I would rather this be a happy visit then a mournful one, but either way it unfolds..." She rubbed the horse's neck,"I will represent my King father."

Edric grinned, "I am sure you will, my Princess. But do not forget, this journey is about your choice of husband, not your father."

A knight in bronze approaches the procession. "I am Ser Vardis Royce. Knight of the Gate, what is your reason for being here?" The Runestone knight looks up to the plain clothed people.

"True, but if Lord Arryn's health has taken turn for the worst, my first obligation is to see to their needs",she smiled,"And to pay my respects as he would want."
"The other will come after I have done my duty as Princess. Do not worry Ser Edric, everything will be done as planned." Her violet eyes smiling, as she pulled her cloak closer to her. The chill in the air was more than she was used to being from the south.
She looked at the knight and was reserved to let Ser Edric speak for them.

Edric nods then yells to Ser Vardis,
"Princess Aelinor Targaryen and her guard seeks passage to the Eyrie. Ravens were sent to Lord Arryn and he shall be expecting us."
